Today, Wingz is thrilled to announce our agreement with John Wayne Airport! This permit, which allows our drivers to both drop off and pick up customers at John Wayne Airport, represents a first for the Orange County airport.

Wingz, the only ride-sharing app facilitating pre-scheduled door-to-door airport rides, was the first TNC to reach out to John Wayne Airport to create an application to receive a permit.

“This has been a collaborative effort between the Airport and the TNCs to better understand this new business model that has become so popular with travelers,” said Acting Airport Director Lawrence G. Serafini. “The new permit is structured to ensure these companies can operate on a fair and equitable footing with JWA’s other ground transportation service providers and to ensure the safety and security of our passengers.”
