SFO gets itself new Wingz!

Today, we are thrilled to announce our agreement with San Francisco International Airport (SFO)! This makes Wingz the only Transportation Network Company (TNC) offering pre-scheduled door-to-door airport rides and operating legally at SFO.

We were the first TNC to work closely with SFO and sign a permit application back in May 2014. We thank the airport authorities for giving local and international travelers the freedom to choose the most reliable, affordable and convenient service for pickup and drop off at SFO.

Getting a ride at the crack of dawn or at the last minute can be stressful… unless you use Wingz. Wingz allows you to schedule your airport ride at the same time that you book your flights. This way your travel accommodations are 100% taken care of in advance and you can focus on what really matters to you.

To make sure that your request is accepted by one of our drivers, you need to follow three very easy steps:

1. Book 24 hours to a week in advance

This is true for every ride but more so for very early rides. Even though our drivers are superheros, they also need some sleep. If you post your request the night before for a 4:00AM pickup, there is a chance that drivers will see your request too late. To save yourself a headache, book 24 hours to even a week (or a month) ahead of your departure time!

2. Communication is key

Our drivers are trained to reach out to you to confirm your pickup time and location. But better safe than sorry. If you are anxious about your ride, contact your driver to make sure everything is set for the morning. You’ll sleep better, your driver will sleep better and everyone will be ready to go.

3. Wake up 🙂

Sometimes, it is easier said than done and you oversleep. It happens every week. So set your alarm… multiple alarms. Make sure your phone is plugged in and turned on (not in airplane mode) and everything will go as planned. Your driver will contact you when he/she is on their way and will be on time in front of your door, even at 4:30AM!

You don’t have to do anything. Just walk out the door and let the Wingz magic happen!
